Kick Ads Revenue Estimator
Estimate Kick ad revenue from impressions and CPM
How to use this Kick ads revenue estimator
This Kick ads revenue estimator turns your ad impressions and CPM into a quick income snapshot so you can see how much ad breaks really pay per month and per stream. It is designed for Kick streamers, editors and managers who want a simple way to sanity-check ad numbers, plan break frequency and compare ad revenue against subs and sponsorships.
1. Enter your monthly ad impressions
In the first box, add your monthly ad impressions from Kick or your ad dashboard. An impression is counted every time an ad is shown to a viewer. If your analytics only show impressions per stream, multiply that by your average number of streams to get a monthly total, or just plug in a monthly estimate you are comfortable using for planning.
2. Add how many times you go live per month
The next field is streams per month. This is optional, but useful if you want to see ad revenue per stream. For example, if you stream 20 times in a month and have 200,000 impressions in total, the tool will estimate both your revenue per month and your average ad revenue per stream.
3. Choose realistic CPM and fill rate values
CPM (cost per mille) is how much advertisers pay for 1,000 ad impressions. Different niches and countries see very different CPMs. Gaming and general entertainment are often on the lower side; finance, business and tech can command more. If you do not know your exact number, start with a conservative CPM like $3–$6 and adjust as you learn more from your reports.
Fill rate is the percentage of ad opportunities that actually serve a paid ad. Not every impression slot is sold to a campaign; some are unsold or used for house ads. A value like 70–90% is a reasonable planning range, but you can change this to match your own analytics or what your ad partner reports.
4. Read the breakdown and compare per-stream vs monthly income
After you click Calculate, the summary box shows a headline number for your estimated monthly ad revenue. Under that, you will see:
- estimated monthly and annual ad revenue in USD,
- average ad revenue per stream (if you entered streams per month),
- your effective eCPM after fill rate, and
- the total number of paid impressions used in the estimate.
The Copy summary button gives you a clean text version of the results you can drop into spreadsheets, planning docs, sponsorship pitch decks or conversations with your editor or co-host.
5. Use it alongside subs, tips and sponsorships
Ad revenue is only one piece of a Kick channel’s income. Many streamers rely more on subscriptions, direct tips and sponsorships than on mid-roll ads. Use this tool to understand what ad breaks are actually worth so you can balance viewer experience against ad load and number of breaks. If the ad share is small compared to subs or sponsorships, it might make sense to run fewer interruptions or reserve heavier ad loads for specific content.
All numbers here are estimates only. Kick’s monetization programs, ad formats and revenue splits can evolve over time, and rates vary widely by niche and audience country mix. Always compare this calculator’s output with your real Kick analytics and payment reports, and speak to a qualified advisor if you are making big financial or tax decisions around your streaming income.
Math explainer: from impressions and CPM to revenue
This estimator uses standard digital advertising math. Let I be your monthly ad impressions on Kick, f your paid fill rate as a decimal (for example 0.80 for 80%), and C your CPM in USD — the amount advertisers pay for 1,000 filled impressions.
First, we estimate the number of paid impressions:
Paid impressions = I × f
Revenue is then calculated using the standard CPM formula:
Monthly ad revenue = (Paid impressions ÷ 1,000) × C
To show the bigger picture across the year, the tool multiplies this monthly figure by 12:
Annual ad revenue = 12 × monthly ad revenue
If you enter streams per month, the calculator divides monthly revenue by that number to estimate ad revenue per stream. It also computes an effective eCPM after fill:
Effective eCPM = C × f
That eCPM tells you how much you are effectively making per 1,000 raw impressions once unsold or unfilled inventory is taken into account. You can compare eCPM over time to see whether changes in your content, category or ad formats are actually improving your monetization.
